Working with Intent

It is the goal of the designer to discover, refine and integrate specific connections with proportional relationships, constructing an artifact that solves a problem in an appealing fashion. The challenge being to simultaneously discover what is critical while refining each element collectively and individually in a constantly changing environment.

Personification & Usability Refinement ( 2014 )
3Dimentional Construction to Learn about the Physical Form

The introduction was made and the dialogue started. Using drawings, sketches, renderings, physical models and digital objects coupled with discover, experimentation and investigation the projects was successful. Promoting the functionality, growing the brand and connecting the people who use it in the characteristics of the product.

Product Packaging Evaluation ( 2015 ) The Power of a Third Perspective. Ease. Cost. Efficiency: A mid day phone call became a working meeting and the time was set. At their third floor office the founder of a consumer product company and one of his employees needed to solve issues concerning their product packaging prototype. Starting with a series of questions from what they wanted to change about the prototype to questions about the factory, supply cost, and users; eventual the tables turned for beauty. After some brainstorming, and some conversations it was agreed to take the direction of the packaging towards a classic looking, bottle N' cap container. A few days later an email arrives " Jason, Thanks so much for the help the new idea cost significantly less and looks so much better. Thanks Again "
